Introducing the SER-2020, a monophonic semi-modular analog synthesizer designed in a sleek desktop format. With its exceptional formant filter section, the SER-2020 is fully compatible with Eurorack modules, offering unparalleled versatility for your music production setup.

Inspired by the Legendary Synton Syrinx

The SER-2020 draws inspiration from the sonically remarkable Synton Syrinx—an iconic synthesizer famously used by acclaimed artists such as Aphex Twin, Air, and Depeche Mode. AnalogFX proudly resurrects the unique sound character of this rare beast, providing musicians with a powerful tool for creativity.

Sound Design Flexibility

At the heart of the SER-2020 are its oscillator and filter sections, expertly crafted using CEM3340 chips (notably featured in the SCI Prophet 5) and CEM3350 chips (found in the Rhodes Chroma and Crumar Spirit). This combination shapes the synthesizer’s distinctive sound and offers flexible sound-shaping capabilities.

The SER-2020 features a vibrant and detailed 24 dB low-pass filter, along with two independent resonant peak filters, each equipped with separate cutoff and resonance controls. This setup allows for precise and dynamic sound manipulation, enabling you to create everything from solid bass tones to articulated formant effects.

Innovative Touch’n’Bend Pad

The Touch’n’Bend pad is a standout feature, allowing users to adjust the pressure sensitivity of the VCO, VCF, and VCA for expressive performance. With MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) support, the SER-2020 responds to various touch dynamics, including:
